Space Economy is a pioneering Investment Fund designed to support the exponential growth of the deep tech industry and expand the space economy. We provide a dynamic platform for visionary investors to participate in this rapidly evolving industry and support the advancement of the Asian ventures in this field.
We aim to continually seek out new ventures –whetherit’s a missions to distant planets, probing asteroids for resources, or creating sustainable energy resource on here on Earth. We are committed to supporting projects that expand our understanding of the universe and push technological boundaries beyond our limit.
Our goal is to position Asia, and in particular Southeast Asia as the premier hub for the deep tech and space industry by bridging the gap in the ecosystem and supporting startups. Our team comprises industry veterans from the space, commodity, and financial sectors, committed to fostering innovation and collaboration.

Lynette Tan, CEO and Chairwoman of Space Faculty, is a visionary leader in global space technology development. With 20 years of experience in business growth and strategy, Lynette excels in driving innovation, engaging stakeholders, and mentoring future leaders. Lynette has also served as a Chief Executive board member at SSTL.
Director & Board Member
Julie Ying Baron, a pioneering entrepreneur in the space economy and the founder of Via Space Holding –with a mission to democratize space resources, supporting exceptional space entrepreneurs and projects aiming to establish humanity's second home. She leverages decades of experience in commodities trading and financial world to drive innovation in space mining.

Tom James, a distinguished expert in the global natural resources market, leverages his extensive knowledge and network in commodities, space, and financial sectors. His strategic insights and leadership in fund operations and investment committees significantly contribute to our mission of pioneering advancements in the space economy.

John Collis, a seasoned commercial lawyer with expertise in regulatory and compliance matters, has been running his law firm since 2003.
